In three days I will be flying out of Australia to Europe. Leading up to this trip I’ve had much discussion and drowned in endless research into which of the zillions of carbon offsets I should purchase.

After getting to know the 100% Renewables Campaign through Wagga Wagga’s local climate action group CROW, I decided the best way to alleviate some of the carbon guilt I’ll be carrying as I backpack (and fly) around the globe, would be to instead invest my carbon offset dollars by a donation to the campaign.

The campaign I believe is critical to getting Australia on track to reach, and hopefully exceed, the Kyoto targets and contributing to putting the brakes on dangerous climate change.

I wish the campaign and the wonderful people behind it all the best and can't wait to return to Australia to be able to see the fruits of its success.
