Last weekend, groups started flyering in ALP seats around the country, worried that their MPs will cave in to the big polluters and see the carbon price do very little for renewable energy, despite huge community support for renewable energy.

The flyers these groups are distributing talk about the opportunities of carbon price revenue going towards investment in renewable energy, as well as highlighting the bad behaviour of the big polluters and calling on MPs to stand up to big polluters and ensure significant investment in renewable energy as a result of the carbon price.

Groups have also committed to distributing alternative flyers to letterboxes in their electorates in the days immediately following the carbon price announcement, should the package deliver significant investment for renewable energy, and not over-compensate big polluters.
