Well, thanks to the generosity of supporters across Australia, this big solar billboard will be brightening up the  daily commute for thousands of South Australians from Wednesday, September 12.

Chief among these commuters will be South Australian Premier, Jay Weatherill, who travels alongside the corner of North Terrace and Port Road into the centre of Adelaide for his daily commute.

It will serve as a colourful daily reminder of the 300 intrepid volunteers who will start the Walk for Solar from Port Augusta on September 16 to arrive in Adelaide for the Repower Port Augusta rally on Sunday, September 30.

Dozens of people responded to our appeal last week, helping us reach our $1500 target. This will be combined with money raised by other partners in the Power Augusta Alliance to help get this billboard posted.  Any money raised beyond this $1500 target will be used to support the organising of SOLARdarity walks in strategic locations around the country to coincide with the Adelaide rally.
