Climate Action Darwin is a growing community group of volunteers getting together to support a vision for a safe climate and a sustainable future. Our objective, as part of a national Community Climate Network, is to address climate change through community engagement and political mobilisation, for all people, all species and all generations. Sutherland Climate Action Network helps raise awareness about climate change and promotes strong action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across Sutherland Shire, New South Wales, Australia and the world. We meet on the first Tuesday of every second month (February, April, June, August, October and December), 6:45pm-8:45pm at Sutherland Library, 30-36 Belmont Street, Sutherland. The Sydney Youth Climate Action Network, or SYCAN, was formed by a group of like-minded young people at an OzGreen YOUth LEADing Australia congress. We are community-based, Non-Profit, group of youth volunteers who recognise the world is facing a crisis. We work in two areas 1) Our local communities to reduce emissions through education and practical solutions and 2) Our schools, linking environment groups to grow and strenghten the youth climate movement.
We're a bunch of about 15-20 kean beans at Sydney Uni. We're currently campaigning on getting Sydney Uni to switch to 100% renewable energy by 2020 by installing on-site renewable energy generators like solar panels and maybe even windmills on the rural campuses. We also campaign on No New Coal, indigenous solidarity, forest conservation and work with the Australian Student Enviro Network (ASEN) which links up groups like us across the country.
Climate Action Sydney Eastern Suburbs (CASES) is a coalition of climate concerned residents of Sydney's eastern suburbs, taking in the Federal electorates of Wentworth (Malcom Turnbull - Lib) and Kingsford-Smith (Peter Garett - ALP) as well as the NSW state seats of Maroubra (Michael Daley - ALP), Coogee (Bruce Notley-Smith - Lib), Vaucluse (Peter Debnam - Lib) and a bit of Heffron (Kristina Keneally - ALP).

We are an active climate crisis group who are resolute on making a difference. Our primary aims are to make the community more aware of climate change issues and to be politically active in the process.
Established in 2005, our branch is based in Grafton on the NSW North Coast. Other branches are based in Port Macquarie and Taree on the Mid North Coast. We have participated in campaigns such as "Walk Against Warming" (as part of the annual Jacaranda Parade) and "350" (for which we gave $50 to 7 bike users to encourage cycling in town).
The Nimbin Environment Center is active on a number of campaigns and has chosen to run 100% Renewable Campaign surveys in conjunction with Lismore Climate Action Group with Tom Driftwood as the main local organiser.
